The Libs at SFbg blog have delved into the workings of News Corp and their Board of Directors. These guys give the orders and sign their paychecks.

A two page PDF document and relationship chart. I find it interesting.

That’s an enlightening chart. I wonder what similar charting of the other media groups would look like..

I turned my tv off a year ago. Before that if I was at home the tv was on and it was automatically on Fox. Always. At first it was so quiet I thought about calling the cable company to beg them to turn it on again. But I waited a couple of weeks and noticed some changes I liked. I was thinking my own thoughts, paying attention to what I was doing whether washing the dishes, reading a book, talking with a friend, going for a walk. My world expanded. I laughed more, ground my teeth less! I’m better informed because I read more online. If something momentous happens I can see it online.

I had no idea how my LIFE revolved around Fox News. What a blessed relief to have it gone.

I tell all that because since then I have thought more carefully, more objectively. I no longer think in sound bites! I don’t know what others experience is, but I’ve come to distrust media completely. Reading the chart you posted just confirms the suspicions of many of us. We are being spoonfed news. It’s all in the way an event is told and framed.

Fox just uses a different color frosting. Right now it seems they’re hell-bent on shrinking Trump. In some corporate offices it’s been decided he’s got to go. But that is NOT THEIR DECISION to make.

For better or worse, the voters get to decide whether Trump stays or goes.

These smug bastards think they know best. All I can think is - their best decisions brought us here. I don’t know if Trump would be the best, the worst that ever presided over the executive branch, or some of both. But a handful of outrageously wealthy and powerful people don’t get to decide.

We do.
