lotto is a tax on the poor!

Just as soon as a few of the wrong kind win some, the US Justice Dept will take them out!

Not a problem here in Illinois!
Being broke, they do NOT pay the winners!

The odds for an individual player of winning are astronomically low. However, the odds of there simply being a winner, any winner, are basically 100% (because the jackpot rolls over until there is one).

Odds of winning the grand prize in the current Powerball format: 1 in 292 million (not nearly as long as the odds of what they claimed to have done.)

One guy took the plea. The rest are probably toast.
