Students at the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota have cancelled an event to celebrate the end of the year after complaints that bringing a camel on campus could offend those of Middle Eastern cultures.
The Hump Day event, put on by the Residence Hall Association (RHA), was supposed to be a petting zoo type of atmosphere in which students could hang out and take photos with a live camel. According to Aaron Macke, the groups advisor, the camel is owned by a local vendor and trained for special events.

This Catholic College has 1A issues:
**In 2007, the president of the University of St. Thomas, Father Dennis Dease, cancelled a planned speech by Nobel Peace Prize laureate and anti-apartheid figure, Desmond Tutu, on the grounds that his presence might offend some members of the local Jewish community.[26] Many faculty members of Voice for Peace led an email campaign calling on St. Thomas to reconsider its decision,[27] which the president did and invited Tutu to campus.[28] Tutu declined the re-invitation, speaking instead at the Minneapolis Convention Center at an event hosted by Metropolitan State University.[29] However, Tutu later addressed the issue two days later while making his final appearance at Metro State.**

In an Arab country you would be flogged for posting porn.
Midnight at the Oasis....
PC liberals are such morons they can’t even be parodied anymore.
There’s no scenario anyone could make up that would be more ridiculous than their actual behavior.
Lol.. Wonder if they were aware that camels bit and spit :D
Wow.. going to have to find that now.. Been awhile ;)
“I like ‘em big, and juicy”...
Paul’s a camel (thump da bump), Paul’s a camel ....
Love the picture!
Some might think the knitted mouth caps are to prevent spitting, but we know it’s because they wouldn’t quit saying “Mike, Mike, Mike....”
Rarely do I save info from a source....but on this one I did....FWIW. Camels can be nasty. They are deadful and best viewed from a distance, from my experience, having lived in the M.E. for a couple of years.
