Seriously, there are way too many articles that are written to get people to click to find out what was said, instead of writing the one sentence that was said. Because FR has a paragraph or two excerpt from most stories, we don't get hit with the click bait as much. I don't mind clicking on a story that is too long to excerpt here. I do mind being asked to click to go somewhere else when I could have just read it here. If this wasn't actually clickbait, it sure seemed like it, and the poster who provided the punch line seems to confirm that it was.

Apparently many others here now believe that F-bombs are completely appropriate here on FR based on the number of “thanks” to #12, who am I to say otherwise?
But yes, I do get your point about hyperbolic teasers generating clicks, I tire of them as well.
