There was a little girl who had transferred out of a local school here in Rio Rancho, NM, and moved to Connecticut, who was killed at Sandy Hook. She was well-known and liked at her school here. I didn't know her or her family, but hundreds here did. She was real. She is dead. Like you, I know people were killed, and like you, I know it was mishandled from the get-go.

That is very interesting. Thank you for sharing that. I know you as a relatively long-term Freeper (a n00b compared to me, of course, but still :D ) and a Freeper in good standing.

Maggie Cordova school serves a large subdivision called Cabezon, and a few outlying neighborhoods in that area. Thankfully, my kids are homeschooled, and don't have much to worry about regarding school shootings.
