From September 28 through Halloween Day, the burger giant is offering its popular patty sandwich inside a pitch-black bun that's flavored with A.1. sauce and sprinkled with white sesame seeds. The burger comes loaded with the usual Whopper fixings (melted American cheese, pickles, white onion, tomato and mayonnaise) but this one also has a dash of A.1. saucesomething I don't think I've tried in over 20 years.
The verdict: it's kinda, sorta...well...okay, really good.
The black bun has the squishiness of a Martin potato roll and a tiny hint of black pepper that's a good complement to the smoky charcoal-broiled burger, crunchy iceberg lettuce and creamy mayo. I can't believe I'm saying this, but the addition of the A.1. sauce really brings out the umami flavors of the sandwich. Who am I?

I agree the last time I went to Burger King and order a burger with Fries. The fries did not taste like fries and also it gave my coworker the runs LOL
Forgiven. Haha.
I just had a Whopper last Sunday to celebrate the Blood Moon. The sauce combined with the pickle slices created a bitter aftertaste that overpowered all the other ingredients. They have changed the sauce by using too much ketchup. They have made the onions and tomatoes thinner and cut back on the lettuce. I rated the burger an F.
My son ordered their new A1 Mozzarella Burger and asked for extra onion and tomato slices (which this burger does not have). They failed to put in the extra onion and tomato slices. They even forgot his fries. He was very disappointed, but did like the overall taste for fast food fare. It tells me you need to taste test and check your order for completeness before leaving the Burger King.
At the Fuddrucker’s I go to, you can put A-1 or Sriacha sauce on your burger...
Eric ate that thing in seven bites and gave it a perfect 10. He said it tasted like a Whopper with a slight fishy taste from the squid ink.
Looks OK. I generally like BK but the service and atmosphere is crap at the locations that I drive by in the Denver, CO area. Last 3 or 4 times, I split from the drive-thru line after about 7 minutes wait. And one time, there was a lunger running down the pay window. I split at once then.
I go to Wendy’s, we have one good one and one crappy one near work.
That’s not a chicken. That’s a pigeon.
Spaghetti with rat balls. Rats a roni. Rat under glass... rat foo yung...all good eating.
BK food gives me diarrhea. Why would anyone eat any fast food that’s not Chik-fil-A. I just don’t get it

Thanks, I am definitely going to give them a try. I already have most of the ingredients too. Need to get some white vinegar and a couple of other things. but they don’t seem that hard to do.
Rainbow whoppers, baby!
I havent tried out one of these Black Halloween Burgers but a friend of mine did he said they were pretty good, if you like A1 sauce
“Does anyone know how to make a great hamburger or cheeseburger?”
Spend a month eating the Double Cheeseburger off the McDonald’s value menu. After that, ANY burger you make at home will taste fantastic.
I’m sorry, I’ve seen a lot of comments that were positive but I will only eat at home period.
As a kid the whopper was always my favorite, but in my small town when I order it from I’m not sure if it is a female pretending to be a male or visa versa, it turns my stomach and I’m not hungry and believe it or not ready to throw it out. I’m quite thrifty so that say’s a lot. It kills my appetite. As far as the others, except for Popeye’s Cajun fries it is absolute slop. Sure I’d give to my dog but I’d rather wait a few hours until I get home.
I don’t know what they are, but they turn green . . .
