My Dad is going to die. The hospital say it could be anytime within the next 48 hours.
If you can, could you pray for him and for me.
Thanks.
I will. Praying as soon as I post this,
Prayers. I’m so sorry to hear this. God’s grace be with you all
Prayer done for Dad, You and the rest of the Family.
I don’t know what the details are but if He’s in pain and nothing can be done. (I’ve been there.) When He passes try to remember that He is no longer in pain and in a better place than We are and not hurting anymore.
I know that this may seem callused but it worked some for Me when I lost My Dad.
Hang in there and remember We (FReepers) are here for You.
I’m very sorry. Prayers up.
I hope he’s had a good life.
May God comfort you in your time of great loss. Its a great blessing to have had a stalwart father in these times. Prayers for the both of you.
Prayers for your Dad and his loved ones, Lucy.
I pray that Jehovah God Blesses your father, you and your family.
Take care of yourself. Eat, sleep as best you can. The months ahead will have emotional ups and downs, at unexpected times. Keep your faith. Pray yourself. Don't be embarrassed or ashamed at your reactions and feelings. Don't isolate yourself. Grief is a personal and strange process.
Dear God, keep your loving arms around Lucy, her family, and her father as her father faces the end of his earthly life. Give them all faith and comfort that you keep your promises. In Jesus' name I pray.
Sorry you have to go through this. Please know that it should get easier to cope with as time goes by, it won't hurt as much as it does right now.
Prayer for peace and in this transition process. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Praying for him, you, and your family.
Prayers up Lucy for you and your family. Stay there with him, you won’t regret it. When my dad died, I had no warning, he had been doing well... But that day I just knew I had to go to him, that he was dying. Trusted my instincts and just left work, for no good reason, and raced over to him. We talked a few minutes and I could tell he was ready to go, held his hand... He told me he didn’t want to go, that there was no one there waiting for him. All the sudden I had a vision of my recently departed dog, who he loved and hung out with every day while she was alive. I could see a vision of her wagging her tail and pacing impatiently in a beautiful meadow next to a big oak tree, wating for him, and said, “There is somebody waiting for you, she misses you, can you see it?”. Crazy as it sounds, I could see by his face that he could see exactly what I was seeing in that room, and he became completely lucid for a moment, smiled and completely relaxed, and spoke to me then her, then passed on. He was in a nursing home, and I went to get the nurse to tell her he was gond and the time of death... she was certain I was mistaken, and that he was only sleeping, because he had been doing so well, but of course I was correct. I was so glad that I was able to be there with him; my Mom and brother were not- I hadn’t wanted to worry them or have them think I was crazy by calling them and telling them I felt a premonition that he was dying.
All prayers for you and yours.
Lord Jesus, I know that you are with Lucy, her father and her family already, as her father starts his journey to being with You in Heaven.
Wrap Your strong, loving arms around all and give them Your peace that passes all understanding, and strength. Perfect Love casts out all fear, and God Almighty is Love.
In Jesus Name, The Name above all names I pray, Amen.
Prayers up.
Thy will be done. May the Lord surround you with his Love.
Sorry to hear that Lucy Hamilton,I will be praying.((((Hugs))))Fatima
