Take away their hair and do ALL cats look so ugly?
* * *
Yes.
I had a longhaired tortie who picked up some fleas once and I didn’t catch it right away ... until I noticed she was going bald! The vet diagnosed her with a flea allergy and we gave her flea meds, of course, but her allergy caused her to lose ALL the fur on top of her head before we got it reversed. Her head was a maze of wrinkled, mottled skin. Looked almost like a brain. It was NOT pretty!

If missed whiskers has something to do with surviving outside, it’s much more cruel to breed the cats I have. my Persians would get horrible mats in their fur if allowed to roam free, causing pain and skin lesions. So is this judge going to outlaw those breeds too?

A German court makes a determination based on genetic purity?

I don`t know, that`s a cute kitty. Dogs are made for endurance running but Dachshunds certainly wouldn`t win the Iditarod, still they`re cute.

Exactly. Cats (as a group) do much better inside than out. Outside cats live an average of 3 years whereas inside-only cats live an average of 12 years. Big difference!!
