Well....... watching the Pope at the Capital building live stream. Short take. John Boehner is embarrasing, as are most in congress. Nancy Pelosi pushing her way very near the Pope on the balcony after joint session of congress. Why is she even there, the hypocritical views she shares, as does upchuck Schumer, etc. How dare they pretend to be Catholic, with the views they share on abortion and gay marriage plus how corrupt they are.
I’m sickened by the bunch of frauds that are standing next to the Pope. Some of what he’s saying is ok, but the political leaning is disappointing and as a Catholic, I’m not buying it. argh. what say you?
Maybe my problem is that I tend to think of some things in absolutes. I hate it when bigshot “cafeteria Catholics” like Pelosi, Biden, etc. continue to support abortion, homosexual marriage, and a myriad of other sins that would get anyone else excommunicated. And people like me would be run out of the Church pronto. I have to wonder what the deal is? Is the “fix” in? If I was ever behind one of them when receiving Communion I would have to bite my tongue till it bled.
Nancy want to get close to the Pope to educate him that abortion is a sacrament in his church.
I agree with just about all you said. I live in PA and Bob Casey is one of my Senators. His late father was the Governor of Pennsylvania, a democrat, and a social (read pro-life) conservative. His son (the Senator) is his antithesis. A social, far left liberal (more concerned w/global warming hoax than energy manufacturing jobs here in PA, pro abortion, virtually an Obama rubber stamp.
Given Cardinal Wuerl is in charge of DC ArchDiocese, and Sen Casey is a “photo op” CINO, I kept looking for him in crowd (and balcony) as Wuerl used to be Bishop of Pittsburgh and those two are buds. I guess Nancy Pee bitch slapped him out of the way. (I’ll say an extra few Hail Marys for that last comment—but i feel better having said it).
There is NO excuse for a firm defense of life. A lukewarm one is what I feel we received...but, in all fairness I see the topic of abortion and marriage as naturals when Pope Frank is in Philly at the Catholic Family Conference.
Let’s see what he says at the UN. There, unlike our Congress where even the farthest Leftie has to face some Catholic constituents, I expect boos or some form of protest from the many followers of Aloha Snackbar.
