Last night, Irving Texas Mayor Beth Van Duyne revealed that the family of Ahmed Mohammed has repeatedly refused to meet with city officials, refused to released records exonerating police conduct, and that President Obama had tweeted about the case even before pictures of the so-called clock were publicly available.
Appearing on Glenn Becks The Blaze TV, Van Duyne noted how reporting on the interaction between Mohammed and police had been remarkably one-sided, in part because the Mohammed family refused to release records noting:
As a juvenile, they can not release those records. The school district, a number of times, has asked the family, to release the records, so that you can have the balanced story out there. The family is ignoring the request from the ISD.

They would be extremely biased and even vindictive towards Christians. We would have to rename the U.S. Department of Justice to U.S. Department of Death, Punishment, and Violence. "Justice" would become a foreign concept.
The U.S. Constitution is completely incompatible with sharia law. There is no way that Christians can co-exist with Muslims because their belief systems are entirely different. The fallacy of the "coexist" movement was invented merely to enable the shoehorning of Muslim culture into America so that it could grow into a radical element that could overcome American culture. A form of cancer in other words.
Arrest the little spawn of a camel for the same charges as before. Stick his butt in juvie. Charge his parents for conspiracy AND the cost of the lockdown.
The punk did this on 9/11. The media’s ignoring that very important fact.
Not 9/11 but 9/14, which was the first school day after 9/11. I don’t think they were brazen enough to try to pull this on 9/11 - would have been too obvious to ignore.

Sealing the records is not a step to “protect his privacy”, his activist father forfeited that privacy claim when he went to the media, CAIR, and the White House.
There is no “criminal charge” so the investigation is merely that. Suppressing the facts is purely about controlling the narrative.
Allegedly this is a kit that was once commonly sold by Radio Shack. Different than merely removing the casing from an existing clock.
Since this kit dates back to the mid-80s if not the 70s, it is possible that he either purchased a deadstock (old) kit someplace or even purchased such a project that was already constructed.
TSA would not look favorably on such a clock if you tried to board a plane with it. And who plugs a homemade clock into the wall (when it already has battery backup) in English class?
A bomb hoax is a Federal felony and the school authorities had a legal duty to report it and the cops had a legal duty to investigate it.
What Happens If You Make a School Bomb Threat?
There are several goals here.
Jihadi Sr. is looking to win the Lawsuit Lottery.
CAIR/et al are trying to get people to drop their guards.
0bama is hoping to blunt any Islamophobic objections to bringing tens of thousands of refugee jihadis into the U.S.
The jihadis are in the White House!
A dead giveaway of what?
The battery backup on that type of clock is just that: a battery to preserve the time during a power outage until AC house current is again available, the idea being you won't have to set it if you unplug it and move it somewhere else. While this clock is on battery backup, it's basically dead to the world. It can keep the time, but it can't display it, nor can it alarm.
This gadget needs to be plugged in to work. You can see the AC cord in the photos. Who ever heard of a bomb that needed to be plugged in to explode?
Either accidentally or on purpose, Ahmed (and his dad, either before or after) presented an IQ test to Ahmed's English teacher, who failed abjectly by freaking out, leading to a gift to Obama and the Progressives, who now can point to an innocent oppressed Mooselimb!
The response should have been: That's very interesting, Ahmed. Now put it away until engineering class. (Followed by a politically incorrect email to the principal watch this wog, his daddy is CAIR!)
A dead giveaway that it was a commercially manufactured clock and not something the kid built from a kit. You’re making my point in that respect. The reason this is important is that it totally undermines his razor-thin cover story that he had invented something interesting and was so excited about it he couldn’t wait to show it to all his teachers. His motive was, obviously, to make something suspicious looking enough to provoke a response, which of course he got.
This is the thread that IDed the kit:

Reverse Engineering Ahmed Mohameds Clock
and Ourselves

His motive was, obviously, to make something suspicious looking enough to provoke a response, which of course he got.
It was the Irving ISD's error (and gift to the Progressives) to grant him such an intemperate response (if indeed his plan was to intimidate it's also possible he was completely innocent until the ISD overreacted, at which point his Mooselimb activist Daddy took over and engaged his CAIR connections to exploit the political windfall).
Irving ISD should have praised him for his effort, such as it was, and watched him carefully, not arrested him.
So there you have it folks, Ahmed Mohamad did not invent, nor build a clock. He took apart an existing clock, and transplanted the guts into a pencil box, and claimed it was his own creation. It all seems really fishy to me.
The point is not whether or not it looked like an actual bomb, but whether the kid wanted it to look enough like one to arouse suspicion. There is no doubt that this is exactly what he wanted to do.
I’m sorry - I don’t believe he was innocent - what 14 year old is proud of taking the plastic case off a clock and throwing it into a pencil case? If that makes him a clockmaker then I’m an author because I tore the cover off a book.
That’s the point - he perpetrated a massively successful hoax that just about everyone all the way up to the president fell for.
A fair jury would have heard all the evidence and not based its opinion on newspaper accounts.
Unlike a regular broken clock with hands, a broken digital clock isn’t even right once a day.
They’re grooming the kid to be president.
They're certainly not grooming him for a STEM career. Litigation isn't a skill set companies look for in an engineer. He's probably made himself unemployable.
