I’m not picking on you, but I just saw your post, and I wonder where this opinion comes from. Cruz has been very clear as to his stand on illegal immigration.
I’ll post a few links that I just found doing the search “ted cruz “illegal immigration””
http://www.thepoliticalguide.com/Profiles/Senate/Texas/Ted_Cruz/Views/Immigration/

If he is weak on illegal immigration, we need to know that. I just don’t see it though.
No, you miss the point. He keeps saying he doesn’t want to talk about illegal aliens in the US until after securing the border. That is the big difference between him and Trump, for example.
I did miss that point.
He does say that the first thing that needs to happen is the border needs to be sealed, the flow stopped. He also states that he is against amnesty, and seems to understand what amnesty means. Seems fairly reasonable to me.
I can’t imagine that but 12% of the GOP white guilt voters think so.
No. Not only should they not get citizenship, because they broke our laws, they should be precluded from ever getting citizenship.
Go! Cruz!!!!
The message of liberals:
Breaking the law pays
Terrorism pays
Lying pays
Suing rather than petitioning your representative pays
etc.
I am under the same impression as Reno— after watching bloody Megyn interview it seemed like he didnt know what should happen to illegals already here... Though I am the first to admit, I have not spent a ton of time researching it yet.
You know what? So what? Really, this is what everyone whines about is that he’s not as loud-mouthed as Trump or Cruz? Not as verbose and bombastic?
His delivery may give an “impression” but it has nothing to do, in reality, with his character or how he can do things. Maybe instead he is steady, and reliable.
And I have some slight personal knowledge of how his character is.
To each their own.
“Cruz has said that we have to secure the border first before any action will be meaningful or successful. I say enforce the law and deport them.”
The usual line is: “Once the border is secured, we can have a CONVERSATION about what to do with the ones already here.” We have had a conversation for how many decades?
Why not, “Once the border is secured, we will deport ALL illegals.”
Anything else means amnesty.
