No flaming others on this thread. Thanks.
With the thread title in mind, which polls do you trust?
Do you trust the "news" polls (as in CNN, ABC News/WaPo, NBC News/WSJ/Survey Monkey or do you trust unscientific online surveys/polls at Drudge Report and Breitbart?
How about Gravis Marketing?
NBC News Poll, Trump, August - 22%.
NBC News poll, Trump, September 6, 2015 - 28%.
Right now in the newest NBC News poll (thread at FR right now), Trump - 29%. No statistical improvement from 28%.
But Trump is down in the new CNN poll (from 32% just recently to 24% now) and down in the Gravis Marketing poll from where he was earlier (30.8% in July, 40.1% in August and now at 22%, tied with Fiorina.
It looks like Gravis Marketing was the cat's meow in past threads at FR with well over 300 replies on just one thread (link below) and many singing the praises of either Trump or Gravis Marketing - but maybe not so much now in the thread yesterday which has Trump at 22% - way down from July and August.
If a/any GOP candidate says they are leading in all of the polls, to which polls are they referring?
Drudge?
Breitbart?
Are those truly scientific polls?
Does that include leading in negatives among the potential GOP candidates?
Does that include not leading among Evangelical voters (Trump's 20% to Carson's 27%)?
Does that include not leading among those whom most people believe won the very recent CNN debate? Most scientific polls show that Fiorina won that debate.
we also have to remember the media is PUSHING Fiorina the way they were pushing carson....OH LOOK SHINY ANTI-TRUMP candidate.
He husband works as a VP at ATT. the same ATT that pushed homosexuals in the boy scouts.
She is that professor who knows stuff but nobody wants to go near. No gravitas. No depth. She knows how to rehearse and barf the focus group answers. She knows the obvious questions for softball answers.
Just another GOPe hanger on.
Another much-to-do-about-nothing post.
No, bro, I think you misunderstand - I’m on your side here. The 5% I’m talking about are those who think that Trump is a religious figure, and who think that even the likes of Ted Cruz (who’s not at all my favorite, I hasten to add) are duplicitous establishment sympathizers hellbent on diluing America’s pure anglo-saxon bloodlines and forcing us into observing sharia law.
My bad.
My mistake - I’ve seen too many on here who think (for some strange reason) that all conservatives are on Trump’s side.....
I bet he loves Rove and his whiteboard.
Most of these polls have a statistical swing about 5 points in either direction—if the rest of their methodology is perfect. So we really spend far too much time analyzing a few points difference here or there, up or down.
Didn’t you love the Trumpkin responses yesterday when DT said “I love Muslims” and said he would definitely consider having a Muslim in his Cabinet?
All of a sudden, DT was lauded for saying what he “had” to say - IOW it was a standard politically correct statement- one all people in his position would make.
I’m scratching my head in amazement...isn’t DT’s main appeal that he ISN’T PC...that he shoots from the hip and tells it like it is?
You gotta give it to them. Trumpkins are masters of mental gymnastics.
I think you need to see a doctor dude. You keep posting these nasty threads obsessing over Trump’s polls. It must have bothered you to see Trump still ahead by 9 or 10 points over his nearest competitor!
Trump supporters are the most conservative. Your candidate supports mass legalization of illegal aliens. Doesn't matter if I don't know who your candidate is, that literally is the position of every candidate but Trump. Even Cruz dodges it by redefining amnesty to only include barring a pathway to citizenship, but in general supports granting legal status-- which would inevitably lead to amnesty even in his own universe.
If you're wrong on immigration, all your crap about abortion, taxes, whatever, is BS. Amnesty gives the Democrats an extra 9 or 10 percent in votes at minimum, maybe far more.
There seems to be a sizable minority of individuals who just don’t understand if we do not stop this massive illegal & LEGAL third world immigration a conservative will not be elected to the White House for the next 50 years....it will be Obamas & Clintons forever & we will lose the courst & the culture & every issue we hold dear.
snort* hahahahahaha!
LOLOL.
LOL.
I went to post to the member and that’s when I learned that s/he is either banned or suspended.
LOL.
Trump supporters are the most conservative.
Comedian.
Fools laugh easily, especially the kind that thinks mass legalization of illegal aliens isn't going to affect their electoral prospects!
Name the candidate:
“For people that have been here for years that have been hard-workers, have good jobs, they’re supporting their family — it’s very, very tough to just say ‘By the way, 22 years, you have to leave. Get out.’.... I’m one of the world’s very conservative people, but I have to tell you on a human basis, how do you throw somebody out that’s lived in this country for twenty years.”
Let's think about this logically for a moment: You want me to not vote for Trump because in the past he holds a position that your candidate holds today?
Why would I be voting for your candidate?
