The "empowered" response to the "face" comment should have been something along the lines of "sticks and stones", tell Tapper it's irrelevant considering what's going on in the world...then move on to bashing Obama/Hilliary.

Instead, she went into victim mode, with a canned response and a pouty face to get a reaction.

Perhaps some MSM red-meat for Trump-haters, but not exactly a "you've come a long way baby" moment for Carly.

In my opinion she went down a couple of pegs for those theatrics.

Completely agree. She didn't give a horrible response, not did she dwell on the insult. But it wasn't a great response, either.

Fiorina may have scored temporary points with women for her comment, but in the long run, did herself no favors. It was the perfect opportunity to put Tapper in his place, elevate the discourse and endear herself as Reagan did in the face of personal insult--not with ice water, but with humor. Something like, "Jake, I'm running for President of the United States, not Miss USA...although I do want world peace." Or something--anything--other than descending to the liberal tactic of putting hurt feelings on the same plane as the rule of law, foreign policy, genocide, etc. etc. (The same thing could be said of Jeb, whose over the top umbrage about his wife was just silly. Dukakis in a tank.)

As it was, Fiorina was the antithesis of Reagan. Her clear, and sometimes solid policy points were all hard edges and brittleness. Worse, her response actually validated Tapper's question, as if what Trump--or anyone, for that matter--thought of her looks were even remotely a relevant issue. At best, her failure to dismiss both Trump's comment and Tapper's pot-stirring was simply a missed opportunity to highlight mature, reasoned, and balanced temperment. At worst, it was revealing of temperment more suited to conducting OSHA Sexual Harrassment in the Workplace training sessions.

Thank you. She ruined her “Resting B!tch Face” with that lower lip pout. Then when Trump criticized her leadership at HP and Lucent, her body language went into meltdown. The only thing good she did that didn’t sound completely scripted was the comment on PP but then she went and ruined it by saying ‘fetal tissue’ instead of ‘BABY’.

And then there is this...........

Hypocrite much Carly?

That part was pathetic. She either a feminazi deep down or will use any issue to get attention.

Trump’s hair is made fun of all the time - you don’t see him looking mad and trying to get support over it. it’s a nonissue.
