Newsflash: The employee that did this has been fired. Kudos to Whataburger for acting quickly.

No names released yet, but Whataburger issued a statement a while ago saying the person was no longer with the company.

Whataburgers statement
We were appalled to hear of an employee refusing service to two officers, as we have proudly served first responders across our system for decades. As soon as we heard of this isolated incident, we began our own internal investigation overnight. The employee that refused service is no longer employed with Whataburger. Weve also invited the officers back today so we can apologize in person and make this right.”

No. A couple of weeks ago it was a Burger King in a different city.

My bad. Not Burger King, it was an Arby’s. The employee was given a time out, the manager was fired.

The next call to 911 from this place reporting an armed robbery should be fun.

Finally, a company responds correctly when an idiot employee refuses to serve police officers.

My question is: has Obama invited the fired employee to the White House yet?
