Capitalism is the most deeply moral economic system that ever existed. It pulled literally hundreds of millions out of poverty. It creates the only mechanism to rationally allocate the earth’s resources. It is better at protecting the environment than statism. The state and state control of the economy may be OK in theory but in practice it is deeply corrupt and evil.

Agree. It also rests on the ideals of personal freedom and responsibility. It is interesting how many label capitalism as competitive and socialism as cooperative. In fact capitalism rests on the ability to cooperate, to voluntarily trade one service or good for another; while socialism relies on forced cooperation.
