I saw the cartoon and all I can say is..."poor Weird Al."

1974 was the year of "Billy, Don't Be A Hero" and "Night Chicago Died." Back in those years, you had certain pop songs that played endlessly for months at a time. Then they disappeared from the airwaves and you hardly ever heard them on the radio again.

Other examples were "Seasons in the Sun" by Terry Jacks; "Dreamweaver" by Gary Wright; "Fox On The Run" by The Sweet; "Listen to What The Man Said" by Wings...there are many others.
