No, not Apple either. I use Linux and have the freedom to choose and configure any component that I want. Popular versions such as Ubuntu or Mint are no harder to install and use than Windows or Apple. Most people at home want to surf the Internet, send emails, maybe do word processing, edit/manage photos and video. Any modern OS including Linux can do all of that and more, but Linux gives you more options and privacy than the others.
