I'm actually surprised the NFL didn't wave a huge amount of money at Taylor Swift first--she would certainly be a current star (thanks to the very successful 1989 album) and Swift could include a number of country songs to attract the country music crowd.

Agree. TS would seem to be a no brainier. Most popular in music over the past few years. Then again, this is the NFL.
