There was a lot of homosexuality in the Beat literary world. Not Kerouac as far as I know even though Gore Vidal claimed so, but Ginsberg and Burroughs definitely. And Neal Cassady.

I remember liking that series. I’d be curious to see how an episode would look today. Probably can find it on the net somewhere.
