He had a 2 to 1 TD to interception ratio and a winning record. I’ve seen a lot worse 2nd and 3rd string QBs out there.

Seems to me a guy that can win an NFL playoff would qualify as talented enough to WIN in the NFL and not just play don’t ya think?

Anyone that thinks this is about his performance, keep telling yourself that.

I'd modify that to "not talented enough to play... in a drop-back passing offense." The problem isn't that you couldn't win a lot of games with him as a backup... it's that to use his talents optimally, you'd have to change your offensive system dramatically when you put him in.

Yeah, you need skills. Coaches dig guys with skills. Skills like dog fighting skills, ball deflating skills, rape skills.

Did you see him Thursday night? He looked very good, like a new QB with actual passing ability. The ability to pass accurately will make him a better runner as well.
