What is it you mean by "vanity" post? I am unfamiliar with this usage of the word in this context. Please enlighten me.

My understanding is a ‘vanity’ post is where you are not posting an article or a link to an article by a source, but rather writing your own ‘article’. If I am wrong on that someone please correct me. (Last sentence unnecessary on FR)
