Jimmy Superfly Snuka, the popular WWE star, was arrested and charged with third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter in the 1983 death of his girlfriend, according to The Morning Call.
Nancy Argentino died on May 10, 1983, and Snuka was the only person of interest at the time, yet he was never charged.
The case was reopened last year after a new autopsy report emerged, The Morning Call reported last year, and it was labeled a homicide. According to records, the 72-year-old Snuka who is suffering from stomach cancer returned to his Pennsylvania motel room after a wrestling show on the night in question to find the 23-year-old Argentino gasping for air and oozing fluid from her mouth and noise.
She died the following day of her brain injuries. She also had suffered cuts and bruises to her head, ear, chin, arms, hands, back, buttocks, legs and feet. The autopsy showed she had been hit with a stationary object.
Initially, Snuka told five people he pushed Argentino that day. He said she fell and hit her head, according to police interviews. But later, Snuka said he was misunderstood and adjusted his account to say Argentino slipped and hit her head. Her family won a $500,000 wrongful death case against Snuka in 1985, but he claimed he was broke.

Wrestling ping?
No Freaking Way!
Did she have any pain in her noise?
OK.... great. Now, try to PROVE it. Lots luck with that 32 year old cold case.
And if you convict him, what then? 2-3 years in jail while the tax payer pays for his cancer treatments?
That is physically impossible.
What a poorly written article.
LOL! Maybe it was supposed to read 'stationery' object - like a paperweight...
He is 72
I doubt he is still wrestling
Hulk used the n word and WWE erased everything.
Snuka allegedly commits murder and even lost the civil trial in 1985...Vince McMahon says let’s wait and see if he really did it.

Yes. Like I said. A very poorly written article.
Her head hit a stationary object, NOT the other way around.
worth clicking on the link just to see the video of Superfly going off the top of the steel cage...
sorry. way too much time spent watching him and Dusty Rhodes (and Gordon Solie calling it) at the armory on state road 84 in Ft Lauderdale...
Sad all the way around. I hope he didn’t do it as a fan of his growing up...

Yep, you nailed it. Plus Hogan's use of a politically incorrect word came in a private sex video he participated in. Is McMahon going to raid the homes and private lives of all his wrestlers to see if they have any personal videos hidden away?
“The autopsy showed she had been hit with a stationary object.”
Who is in the what now?
I've never heard of the guy, or the case, but what's up with a new autopsy report in a 32 year old case? Did they run new tests on old, preserved samples? What new could they possibly have turned up?
My viewing of professional wrestling pretty much ended in high school, back when we were learning to drink beer, which for some reason involved watching Baron von Raschke and his terrifying, should-have-been-banned-by-the-Geneva-Convention killer move, "the claw." I think we must have watched it back then because it came on after all the legitimate televised sports were over, and wrestling was the only thing left on the tube in those innocent pre-cable days except talk shows and infomercials. This shows you the dangers of beer.
I wonder if the WWE will wipe everything clean of Snuka from their web site like they did with Hulk Hogan..does this mean they will also fire his daughter Tamina

1983- the beginning of the golden age of steroids....
What if it was a letter opener or ream of paper? Those are stationary objects?
