While correct, there's a large difference between "fuck the cops, and fuck you" with subsequent drunk and disorderly charges capped with assault and criminal mischief... and commencing a lethal gunfight under the muzzles of hostile rifles.

This is precisely the sort of statement that is ludicrous on it's face. These are military men, in large portion. These are at least quasi-military clubs, with more than a small portion of their members being battle tested - Do you really expect me to believe they ignored, or were unaware of, strategically placed LEO emplacements with superior firepower and superior battlefield placement?

That makes no sense at all.
