Not when he was president. Not after. Before. Not to honor his service after he was assassinated. Before, for political reasons.

Alaskans call it Denali and have asked to change it back for decades.
If Ohio wants a Mount McKinley, they should get their own.
Alaska was never asked, and since they have been lobbying for decades to have the name changed back to Denali then I'd say they probably were never for the McKinley name. So yeah, Obama is doing the right thing here. But I'm sure he won't make a habit out of it.
