Hmm.. Sounds like you need to look into getting a proper dog, if the raccoons aren't scared of the little ratdog you have... A real dog, I like that, my puppy is 140# and raccoons aren't the only things that are scared of him.
Well that`s San Freaksisco but I live close to a county park w/marsh so if a pack of the big trash fed bassturds that live around here attacked, you`d be hard pressed without a CCW, 140 pound dog or not.
But I should think a minimum of one .380 a piece would be enough.
