I thought cronuts, a cross between a croissant and a donut, was the latest thing???

Hard to keep up anymore.................

Cronuts as so over. Not that I would refuse one. Or more than one.

There's a little bit of a revived interest in an old Breton butter cake called kouign-amann. Was featured as a challenge in a British amateur baking show.
