Time Enough At Last.
I have read literally hundreds of Fantasy/Sci-Fi/Horror novels (and plenty more movies) and it’s only competition is “Saikano”, a Japanese Anime.
TEAL tears your brain apart. Saikano tears your emotional humanity apart.

Time Enough At Last.Yes. That's the first one I thought of when I saw this thread. Burgess Meredith was excellent in that episode.
