A small pressure cooker takes about 10 min to cook pinto beans, less for smaller beans. You just need enough fuel to get the pressure up, mainly just enough to boil the water.
Pressure cooker...excellent idea. We inherited one of those when my mom passed...never used it. I’m going to have to experiment some.
