Whatever happened to all those Waco bikers? You know, the 177 people arrested at the Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco, Texas after a motorcycle rally on May 17 ended with nine people shot dead?
Immediately following the shooting, I wrote about just how badly Waco authorities screwed up the arrests. Rather than trifle with technicalities like the rules for bail under the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure, Justice of the Peace Pete Peterson set bail at a staggering $1 million for each of the arrestees in order to send a message. Then I described how prosecuting nearly 200 bikers was crushing the criminal justice system in McLennan County and costing taxpayers a fortune.
Why did the story fade from public attention? Whats come out since the story broke?
As it turns out, its no accident that you havent heard more about the Waco biker debacle.
First, lets look at two developments that seem like they would be informative, but actually arent.

Biker Lives Matter.....
The cops rioted. They were afraid to take care of Black activists and figured the Bikers wouldn’t stage a protest. I’m sure their were some dirtbags among the bikers. But shoot first and ask questions later is government out of control
Thanks, again. Good analysis on the part of the author. The problem with Twin Peaks is not the WHO but the HOW. The unnamed poster that always appears tries very hard to focus on the WHO but the real issue is not to whom did this happen but HOW did it come to pass. That is the question that is being smothered to death because the folks smothering it do not want it to be known. In what used to be known as the USA that is a big issue. Today, not so much.
This case stinks to high heaven and I’d bet a week’s pay that if you sifted through all the medical evidence you would find out most all of those bikers died from .223 rounds not from handgun ammo. Now who that day was using rifles chambered in .223?
Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping!
To get onto The Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping List you must threaten to report me to the Mods if I don't add you to the list...
We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that weve set. Weve got to have a civilian national security force thats just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded. Barack Hussein Obama, 7/2/2008They dont call it a Civil Defense force, that would imply we need (or perhaps that we deserve) defense. The official name is National Civilian Community Corps.
I think of it as the NatCCC, or more simply, as the NatCs...
In before the usual suspect shows up to claim that the autopsy report shows what type of weapon caused each wound.
How did the police get there so fast? Looks like a police ambush.
The police were there in advance. Even installed pole cameras in advance, to capture the action.
They do not indicate the additional ballistics data to determine what weapons those bullets came from.
Both 7.62 mm and 9 mm are considered "medium" caliber.
Without bullet weight and/or other ballistics data, it is not possible to tell if the round came from an AR-15 chambered in .300 blackout or a 9mm Hi-point pistol (both "medium" caliber), for instance, nor whether the "small" caliber wounds were caused by .223 (AR-15) or .22 long rifle (.22 pistol).
Yes. They were on site all morning, but were SITTING IN THEIR CARS when the first shots were fired according to the Waco Chief of Police. "Strangely" we have no accounting from the BATF as to what their people were doing.
Stroman statement that has been scrubbed from Waco PD facebook
If I were a betting man, I’d bet anyone here a dinner at the restaurant of his or her choice that none of the bikers will be convicted of either murder or manslaughter.
“This case stinks to high heaven and Id bet a weeks pay that if you sifted through all the medical evidence you would find out most all of those bikers died from .223 rounds not from handgun ammo.”
I’ll take that bet if you are serious! Are you?
>>> “Strangely” we have no accounting from the BATF as to what their people were doing. <<<
Don’t forget the even more mysterious Texas DNR presence...
LOL..... now we all know who not to take advise from on where to place a bet.
All these criminal biker gang sympathy posts have two common themes, ignore reality and wishful thinking.
There’s a good old Texas saying, Wish in one hand and poop in the other, see which fills faster.
Why do we, as a ‘free’ people, need so darn many law enforcement agencies?
Not all bikers are criminals. I haven’t seen any proof that the majority of the ‘bikers’ in this case had any criminal history. Most that I’ve read about had normal jobs and considered this a club.
I’d wager the percentage of bikers who were committing crimes was similar to the number of law enforcement people committing crimes.
For reference and background, this poster attempted to have all discussion of Waco banned on this board. Failing that, she contributes little except personal attacks.
Because of people like bandidos and cossacks who have no restraint in having a shootout in a public place.
Heck if they wanted to meet, to discuss motorcycle safety, down in the river bottom where innocent people are unlikely to get hurt or killed and shoot it out, I’ll donate ammo.
Could you show one instance where any Poster had stated that ALL BIKERS ARE CRIMINALS? You will not, because that has never occurred on FR.
Motorcycle GANG members are not the same as Motorcycle riders. I have many Motorcycle rider friends and not a damn one of them belongs to a criminal gang like the bandidos or Cossacks.
What’s is next, you all drag out another personal threat to kick someone’s ass for disagreeing with FR thread posts sympathizing with and defending criminals?
