I said it the other day worse than the urban zombies and yutes will be the scoffers. They will be the first to beg and then try to steal from preppers. They will be among the first to call for fair distribution.
The scoffers like we seen on this thread will not take kindly to being wrong and so therefor you will have to be punished!

Define the difference between preppers and nut cases.
Bet you can't do it.

Agreed. Fortunately, he’s some distance away and doesn’t know where I am exactly.
That being said, I see some parallels between some of them and those who don’t know the Tribulation is coming for the world.
There will be many surprised. Just as Jesus prophesied.

Crash advice No.2: do you have enough bottled water, tinned goods & other essentials at home to live a month indoors? If not, get shopping. Bottled water? Not a month, but I have purification.
Tinned goods and other essentials? Yep. I think everyone should have more than 30 days, even on a farm. Even with your own crops, it's not like you can harvest at will if a problem comes up.
Crash advice No.3: agree a rally point with your loved ones in case transport and communication gets cut off; somewhere you can all head to.
We call our rally point "home".

Checked out my bank on Bauer. It has a FIVE star rating. Been pretty happy with them until this most recent situation. They recently installed a voice activated ATM/depository which is available 24/7 and I noticed that there aren’t as many people working at this particular branch. Will inquire tomorrow about the money issue being pursued at just this local branch or company wide. Didn’t see any comments about restricting cash or denominations on Bauer. Thanks again for the access info.

Cuz it takes that long to eat your pets?

Define the difference between preppers and nut cases. That is a Venn diagram with A LOT of overlap!

A bank near me (large, large multi-state bank in America, cough) removed all the teller stations, dropped the blinds and hasn’t run teller operations to drive-thru for several months now.
I’ve never seen anyone remove the machines until the whole bank building was abandoned. There’s a few of those here in the Midwest as well.

Things may get "interesting" from here on. The market could "rally" again like it has in the recent past, based on nothing but hot air, lies, hope, and happy talk. The problem now is that this current slow burn crash we are experiencing so far is global.
I am trying to do the same things I have been doing for awhile now.....get right with Christ first. Next, food, water, medicine, some cash on hand, home defense, and some means of temporary power and light. The rest I leave up to the Alpha and the Omega. The one true God.

I was trying to figure out if I could make a budget solar thing but it’s still several hundred dollars.
And I’ve got none of it. But at least have a BBQ grill as the cooking backup but that’s still a tough one.

Yeah, the inverters, batteries, and panels are not cheap. Even a very small gas generator would be a good idea for some essentials in an emergency. You can also purchase hurricane lamps for very cheap, and they sell lamp oil at hardware stores. They are much better than candles....no hot wax mess, they burn cleaner, you can control flame brightness, etc.
I burned olive oil once because I was curious how it burned after reading what God commanded the Jews to burn in the Tabernacle. Lol! It burned fantastic, but it is expensive. Veggie oil also burns.

The “bank in America” you mentioned is probably the same one that has closed some branches down here, too. Not sorry to see them go - crooked as a dog’s hind leg IMO. Understand that they sent out no notice to any one who did or might be inclined to use their bank. No signs or anything. They are just closed.
Chase has at least four drive-throughs within easy driving distance of my home. I know they’ve laid off staff - including one of my friends who had been there almost ten years - and wonder how long it will be before some of them close also.
