And to think we use “soap bubbles” to test for leaky joints. That, and a sense of smell or electronic sniffers. Never thought of using fire to check for leaks in a flammable circuit. No WONDER union nimrods look down on us lowly unaffiliated tradesmen.

I used to ask inspectors if they would like me to accelerate the testing by lighting a match.............just to see the look of fear on their face. I can't imagine how long gas was leaking into the building before the clown lit his match.
