I was a little hesitant about Donald Trump when he first burst onto the scene. However, the longer this goes on and I read the vitriol and the suppressed outrage of the liberal enemy media, I begin to realize Donald Trump IS our best hope for actually getting the ball rolling to removing most of the Congressmen and women from office and the wretches that infest half of the Supreme Court along with all of the major media heads and their minions. No other candidate will fight to get people replaced who are NOT doing what is necessary to get things turned around.
It is becoming more and more obvious that even Blacks and Hispanics who have a vested interest in this country also support what he is saying and wants to DO. The simple formula for whether he is right for the country IS the enemy media's explosive reaction to him. People who can not stand the corrupt government and media are feeding on the negativity of those opposing Trump, realizing that what is enraging the leftists is right for the nation. What horrifies the left is right.
Sec Def West
Then maybe his whole goal is to divide the conservative side so the Democrats can win. The Republicans, through failure to act and for conceding to Democrats at all over the last 20 years have brought this on themselves. So bit it. Let everyone suffer.
I read the thread devoted to that particular issue. Trump's fans were cheering and calling him brilliant for it.
It's much more reasonable to think for yourself instead of waiting for a public figure to give you the go-ahead.
Cruz is working at laying the groundwork of his own campaign. He's keeping himself out of the tabloid Trump mess because it suits his own aims.
As a conservative, it suits my aims to support Cruz.
I this not considered an actual treaty, so no ratification involved.
I've been thinking about that a lot since Trump came onto the scene, and Freepers and others immediately started criticizing Trump for being overly sensitive to criticism and "childish" and unprofessional in his response to his critics. At the time, I gave GWB a little credit for taking the "high road" and at least giving the appearance of not allowing his critics to get under his skin.
But, turns out that was the wrong approach. Over time, the unanswered criticisms began to stick and even conservatives started thinking Bush was stupid and a wuss (for not fighting back).
It was like having Charlie Brown in the White House, with liberals and the media playing the role of Lucy. And GWB just kept lining up to kick the football that he knew Lucy was going to pull away from him at the last minute and leave him looking the fool.
With Trump, that is never going to happen. Not only will he fight back but he won't settle for merely a draw. No, he'll run down the street kicking them in the back of the pants as they retreat.
That's the kind of fighter we need.
You are mistaken in assuming you know what I want. I learned long ago that what I want and what actually happens are very different things almost always. I am all for the founder’s intent here the question is how do we get from where we are to there.
Mistaken, hell. I judge you from your own words, which are right here for everyone to see.
You don’t get back to the Constitution via tyranny. If the founders were alive today and heard you said that, I imagine their responses would be more unpleasant than anything you’d get from a forum post.
Quit disrespecting the people who put the Godless congressmen and women and Obama in their offices. You just described them, troll.
I have had just about enough of folks who say we should keep the same stinking garbage in our houses because we don't want someone we don't like personally to take the garbage out. All you can do is vini vidi waaaah....
Actually you only need to Google images of Trump and his desk to see how he would conduct himself in the Oval Office. Always with jacket and tie. Tons of papers all around him. His office is an ACTIVE office and he is obviously hands on.
I suspect Trump is not going to be taking 300 golf trips during his first term like Obama did, even though he likes to golf.
Rove, of course. But at some point Bush was responsible for deciding to take such ultra-rotten advice. At some point it was up to Bush to stand up, be a man and say no more.
Trump terrifies all of Washington, DC who fear he may not just fire many of them, but that he may also jail some of them, too.
If Don and Ted have that agreement, Cruz can spend a lot of money and energy primarying the Uniparty in Congress.
We need to get Democrats committed to voting for Trump in the primaries and general to pull this off.
If I’m a troll I think its time you openly call to get rid of me and apparently anyone else who happens to disagree with you.
You are forming an opinion based on one statement quoted out of context. There are 17 years of posts archived that are available to disabuse you of your misperceptions.
“...how he rolled over and played dead for the media a thousand times a week...”
He did do that, didn’t he.
It was most disheartening to see him respect the media when they were nothing but a bunch of programmed, Progressive,
psychotic, junior-high-school punks who should have been taken care of in the school yard a long time ago.
Their psychosis is of that of the cosmic kind; irreparable, irremediable, incurable, and eternally adolescent.
IMHO

The more the treasonous media is outraged by Trump, the more I realize he IS the candidate we need
My only request is Ted Nugent be appointed head of the BATF.
The GOP is going to have to come to terms with the fact that a huge number of Republicans would rather see the Party fail than continue in its present form.
Well put.
