Does this guy have any idea as to the anger Americans have over illegal immigration? He does not want to use the term "anchor babies". He does not want to deport illegals. He obviously does not like Trump.
I have stopped listening to him. Anybody else feel the same?
People still listen to him? Hugh Hewitt is crap too. So is Glenn “feed the illegal rapists hot dogs as they sneak across the border” Beck.
I’m not surprised.
Obviously anyone who doesn’t like Trump MUST DIE!!
“Does this guy have any idea as to the anger Americans have over illegal immigration? “
Lol. Michael doesn’t care- he’ll just tell you that you’re a nativist and a xenophobe.
Medved feels so strongly about mass immigration from the third world, legal as well as illegal, that he’s happy to give your neighborhood away to them. Not his neighborhood, he’s in the paradise of Whidbey Island and it will never be overrun by illegals. That’s for little people. And before that he lived near his old Lefty buds in the People’s Republic of Santa Monica. Like Whidbey Island another spot too rich for illegals.
Michael himself was on the hard left back in his college days. His “conversion” came when he realized that people on the Right were more useful than his isolationist pals on the commie left. But while he became a Republican he certainly didn’t give up all of his leftwing social values, like amnesty for illegals.
If you saw ‘Lord of the Rings’ you may remember Grima Wormtongue, the adviser to a king who weakened him by constantly whispering defeat into his ears. That’s Michael Medved. He used to whisper “there aren’t enough illegals to worry about”. When that stopped selling he switched to “there are so many illegals you must legalize them all”.
It’s just defeatism. He’s no longer trying to persuade his listeners that amnesty is a good thing because no one believes it. Now he’s just trying to get you to give up.
I sometimes tune him in to get the GOPe party line.
I stopped listening to Medved probably about 15 years ago.
I figured out real quick that he was an IDIOT and a PLANT.
there’s quite a few talk show hosts I quit listening too because they’ve gone squishy...glenn beck, bill cunningham and ben ferguson.
if i want to be torutred i’ll watch mslsd which i dont.
Listened to him again this week for the first time in a long while. I’m done.
Stopped listening along time ago. This guy was so in the bag for mclames. He also believes Oswald shot Kennedy.
I’ve noticed he is trying to make his voice deeper cause a caller said he sounded effeminate.
Yes. He is on in my area from 3-5 PM. I am really sick of him. He is another ‘reasonable’ Conservative with no bb’s.
I can’t say I’m “sick” of him because I never hear him. But I was out on the road today, and did hear him.
Yammering and lying about how the 14th Amendment was INTENDED by its authors in 1868 to create anchor babies. Which he insisted on calling “birthright babies.”
Medved has the politics of Jeb, and comes across as a combination of Peewee Herman and George Costanza’s mother.
He’s a reliable indicator of where the GOPe is at any given moment. Beyond that he’s only useful to remind yourself that you shouldn’t feel guilty for hating that kid in gym class all those years ago, because he’s probably still an annoying, snooty, condescending jerk who deserved every towel snap he got.
He is a Yale lawyer. That tells me a lot right there. Something about him bothers me but I can’t put my finger on it.
I think he’s in Levin’s classification of a ‘back-bencher’.
He was a big, early pusher of Romney and relentlessly savaged Gingrich. He’s an enemy of conservatives.
“Birthright babies” could apply to all of us. “Anchor babies” is a unique term to describe the children of illegal aliens. I have yet to hear one substitute term from the PC crowd that actually has the same meaning as “anchor babies.”
