Found on the western side of what was once the Templo Mayor complex in Tenochtitlan, in modern Mexico City, the partially unearthed skull rack was likely built between 1485 and 1502 and may have been about 112 feet (34 meters) long and 40 feet (12 meters) wide.It was described by the early Spanish conquerors -- the Aztecs' euphemistic name for it was "the corncrib", and the only surprising thing is that anyone is surprised. :') Thanks dware.
