If you don’t even know what the Carrington event of September, 1859 is then don’t show you ignorance by comment your expertise on the subject.

Fair enough. But REAL preppers would also be aware of the Carrington event of November 1866. At least the ones from Wyoming.

I would never show my lack of knowledge of the history of the Great State of Wyoming by posing as a expert even an FR 'Expert' ["Are you a historian? No, but I posted as one last night on FR."] I will add I have great admiration for Wyoming Gov. Dave Freudenthal adoption of the 'The Code of the West' from James Owen's book of the of the same name as a symbolic part of state law.
