Good point.

SD is mostly desert. It is where the desert meets the sea. I marvel at images or movies with bright green landscape and often comment that they must get a lot of rain. I do so because it is such a rare thing for it to rain around here. Factor in cost of living and the high number of ILLEGAL aliens and I believe SD County is highly overrated.

So do I, yet I choose to live here. Mostly because of memories from my youth and being near family.

San Diego County was paradise up until about 1975. Been all down hill ever since.
