Change the team’s name, and you’ll pick up some Southern fans!

However, seriously, sports fans are sometimes SO illogical and cannot divest themselves of their hate for the other side/love of their side. It is VERY tribal. It always need to be acknowledged on any argument about sports.
Sure, illogical and passionate are oft times opposite sides of the same coin.
But the passion is what makes the game so enjoyable for the fan....or not if they lose.
