Please take this FWIW.....the only thing to do when there is a flap of *any* kind is to employ S&A's *The Thread Hijack Drinking Game*. CHEERS darling!
http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3319126/posts
I hereby propose The Thread Hijack Drinking Game. The rules are simple: When a poster tries to hijack an unrelated thread to his or her pet cause, you 1) reply to the hijack attempt by quoting the text in question, followed by the word "DRINK!", and 2) Take a drink (or any volume) of your favorite beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). Moderation is suggested on animal cruelty threads to avoid alcohol poisoning.
This game will not, I admit, solve the thread hijacking problem. But after a certain number of attempts we will no longer care.

The Apple Watch could easily look exactly like that, if it wanted to (somebody needs to write the
Movado Serio app and have a good IP lawyer on the payroll).

Sell them while they’re still worth something, sasquatch.

You're right!
I may have to wait 'til I go the NYC and get my *real* knockoff

You mean like this custom Apple Watch face"
I just turned off all of the number and second pips,
as well as complications. I can't select for pointy hands yet.

I have a Stainless Submariner and a Two tone Daytona both were purchased in the early 80s. Neither have been to the shop in over 30 years. I gave 875.00 for the Submariner and 1700 for the Daytona, price them now. Used are going for 5 times what I paid for those with the Daytona possibly bringing even more. Somewhere around here is a Stainless Oyster Perpetual Datejust. Bought it about twenty-five years ago. Stopped wearing it when I starting working around areas with high voltage at work. But the whole Apple Watch thing has got me interested in digging it out and wearing when not at work. Nothing against the Apple Watch, just not for me after considering it.

That would be a broken app.
The point is, the Apple Watch knows what time it is, but what it displays is whatever it wants. Because it's a computer, not a magnificent Swiss mechanical cluge.

The point is, the Apple Watch knows what time it is, but what it displays is whatever it wants. Because it's a computer, not a magnificent Swiss mechanical cluge. Yes, it knows what time it is. The magnificent Swiss mechanical Kludge never does. . . the wearer has to tell it what time it is and then hope it remembers accurately enough to get him where he wants to go on time.
