People in sports are always looking for an edge. Everyone understood that and that is why we have referees and umpires. Old sports reporters particularly understood that.

Now this new breed of sports reporters are projecting their leftist views on sports and every thing must be a scandal. If the NFL wants the balls at a certain pressure, they need to check and maintain them as in baseball.

Agreed 100%. Just not sure how new they are. I remember starting to despise them in the 1960's. I mean Howard Cosell really mashed up politics and sports, almost nobody could stand him. From the 1970's on I found it impossible to even read sports columns anymore, Lupica, Mushnick etc. Up here in New York we had the lowest of the low.

This female sportswriter that keeps writing Brady articles is unbelievable ( USA Today I think ). It is practically Maureen Dowd.

Those who can, do. Everyone else, writes. ( or something like that ).
