The problem in Detroit isn’t a lack of churches so much as the infection of liberation theology in the black churches.
Detroit has some of the most devout conservative Catholics in the country and the middle eastern Christians are very solid.
Yeah, I know what you’re referring to but I also wonder if some of those “storefronts” aren’t really just fronts for businesses masquerading as churches for the purpose of evading taxes, etc.
