Trump grew up and older in a toxic business environment. The corporate real estate business is as cutthroat as any government agency boardroom. Mr. Art of the Deal can handle himself. I am loving the ass kicking he is dishing out to all the preening poodles. They have it coming. Little Megyn is out of her league and if she thinks Murdoch won’t sacrifice her to Baal/Molech she has one rude awakening coming. The big boys own the chessboard and the pieces and will sacrifice a piece here and there to gain territory.

The corporate real estate business is as cutthroat as any government agency boardroom.

Government agencies don't have boardrooms, except for a few government chartered corporations which are unique entities. Agencies have layers upon layers of "management" to diffuse the problem of accountability. They are a nightmare to deal with, which is just the way they like it.

If Trump should become president even he will find the agencies extremely difficult and intransigent. The reasons are manifold but trust me, they are much more difficult to control than any business -- by an order of magnitude.

Loved your chessboard analogy and agree with you on that point. But however easy it is sacrifice a piece in the private sector, its tougher to do in the gubermint where there are political ramifications and consequences to every move. The government environment is a swamp with quicksand everywhere.
