During the Middle Ages Scandinavian women had an average height of ~5'2".

With a steady diet of lutefisk,other Scandinavian delicacies, and the physical labor required to not starve or freeze to death I doubt many had considerable girth.

Now, modern Norwegian women with an average GDP of over $100k, modern Western diet, and all the natural gas and heating oil to keep them warm and oil exports to fund a cradle to grave welfare system.....

This is becoming more common

I thought
i had read they were bigger than that because of the high protein diet (more meat than grains) and the physical labor. If they were actually that short they couldn’t have been too thin just because of those factors. Maybe not fat but strong/stocky.
