I think not only can Trump win the GOP base, he will also win a significant portion of working Democrats.

He's a very strong candidate.

ANYTHING is more of a leader than Odimwit! How about Hillary of Benghazi? Other than demonstrating why you should never let incompetents handle contingency plans, what leadership value does she have?

Donald Trump is far and away more of an experienced leader than anyone else out there..and we probably don't have to worry about him selling favors to foreign entities to raise campaign money.

“I just fear he will go all Ross Perot on us.”

Why would the undisputed leader in the polls (2:1 advantage in most cases) go 3rd party? The only that could happen is if the RNC screws him over ... and in that case that’s exactly what he should do.

THAT depends on the RNC/GOP/COC Cartel.

Mr. Trump is very smart and very wise to wave that card at the Cartel from time to time.

It still amazes me that Perot got as many votes as he did.

BTW I hear Chrissy lives in an uber white neighborhood in suburban DC

Intimidation is exactly what it is, Trumps threats to bolt and run third party if punks like Rancid Pruius and Tokyo Rove try dirty tricks and sabotage on Trumps campaign. The slave labor pimping, open borders Republicans are running scared. Dittos for the free traitors.

In all honesty, I actually supported Perot at the time.

(I know, it is a bit embarrassing)

I believe Trump is more personable, I believe Trump is more likable, I believe Trump is also advocating for America now, after 20 years of continual abandonmeynt by both parties.

I believe Trump has also now, been fully involved in the GOP. If he gets turned against now, he will have a (huge) segment of the GOP on his side.

He’s getting a fair shake so far.

I believe this is (very) different this go around.

“I think not only can Trump win the GOP base, he will also win a significant portion of working Democrats.”......

I think you are pretty close with that prediction but all the Trump rhetoric will be for naught as the rino’s will pick Bush as their man. Dumb asses all of them.

If he does, then we that support him will go ‘third’ party....

You may be right, but the libs probably want Trump to win nomination because they believe he will be easy to beat.

There is NEVER. A reason to believe anything said by the Left should be taken at face value. There is ALWAYS a political angle involved, always.

Politics is a game. There are players and there are rules. DT is upsetting the game board. He has forced his way into the tournament, elbowed others out of the way and Started dictating new rules.

I am happy for the element of unpredictability that he creates. Calculating political consultant strategerists are apoplectic. Another reason to feel good.

Well, they wanted Reagan to win the nomination because they thought he would be easier to beat and look how that worked out for them. :)
