Right.

So instead of fighting for the best candidate in the Primaries, you’re going to let polls and this false belief you have about Ohio make your decision about who to vote for?

Is it any wonder why we end up with the likes of John McCain and Mitt Romney?

In the Primary I, as a Christian Conservative, vote for the candidate that best represents my Social Conservative values, my Fiscal limited-government Values and my Strong support for the military, No Global Warming support, No Universal Healthcare at all, strong on Border issues.

Especially in the Primaries, I never vote for someone who I think can win, I vote for the candidate that has the most fidelity to conservative policy positions, who is best able to communicate those positions, and who is the most fearless in fighting for what is right.

If my guy/gal isn’t nominated, I fall back on the social issues. If the nominee, like Romney chooses evil positions on the social issues, I find a Third party candidate.

My Christianity comes before my politics.

Oh my. Some really don’t know Kasich’s views on many issues. He has some I’m not in favor of, but, he is pro-life, and for a strong military, less taxes, and a balanced budget. He was saying exactly what Mark Levin has been shouting - about what we are doing to the next generation. He has kids he is worried about. He is also a very strong believer in the Lord, and talks about his faith very openly. Does he make mistakes? Yes. Does he have warts? Yes. But, then again - every candidate does. I like Cruz too, but, unless he is on the ballot - there is no way anyone can vote for him.

Kasich, a Republican who was raised Catholic but became a Protestant after his parents were killed by a drunken driver in 1987, cites God regularly in public, such as in justifying the building of a Holocaust Memorial on the Statehouse grounds, expanding Medicaid to more than a quarter-million Ohioans, in graduation speeches, in his State of the State addresses and even during an event launching a campaign to prevent the elderly from falling. (“The Lord wants you to be strong and healthy.”)

“My faith is part of me. In terms of how it affects my public policy ... on my best days, I sort of have an eternal perspective, which is really a great thing to have, because it frees you up. You don’t get caught up in some of the things that can get in your way.
