A little sprayed on car shampoo before the storm is worth remembering.
Also washing the car in the rain ....the neighbours think you have a screw loose, but they are bored waiting for the rain to stop and your car is washed. :)
We used to do that during water rationing.
I remember my great-uncle Frank saying that when there was a heavy rain back in the 30s, that was when everyone would go outside to shower and “warsh their heads.”

Those are good thoughts, but I suspect by the time we have a storm like this again, I will have forgotten what you said...Just because the weather prognosticator says “rain” this is the desert, and although we got a nasty storm, other parts of the valley were dry, or only got a few sprinkles.
It’s beautiful when we have the light shows...and the air smells so fresh!
But mostly, we just get enough rain to turn the dust on the vehicles into mud drops...and they dry almost immediately. :o]
