Unless they're your kids, in which case they're probably doing college work at fourteen.

Pat isn’t 14 yet.

However, other children who were advanced at earlier ages have tended to average out as they reached the late ‘teens. At least in the testable subjects: reciting sagas in Old Norse doesn’t help on the Central Piedmont Community College placement test.
