Congratulations, nully!
Happy noontime, all. So far today, I have committed cultural appropriation by going to the flea market with my choir-ladies and buying a Mexican blouse, which I will wear to celebrate a Mexican religious holiday next weekend. When I got home, I had pita bread and hummus for lunch. (Also spinach, but I don’t think spinach has a culture for me to appropriate.)
I’m looking forward to further efforts the rest of the day. For example, I can appropriate another Latin culture (since I already used Mexico) by taking a siesta. First, I think I’ll appropriate the culture of Arkansas by going to Walmart. We’re almost out of milk again.
I’m in a little pain this morning, and I can’t quite locate the real place of it, or why it’s there. It feels a little kidney-ish, so I will drink lots of water.
Tomorrow at 0530, I have an appointment for a fasting blood draw, and the only good thing is that the heater in the truck is very efficient. ;o]
I went to Walmart and got some soup. Corn Chowder was on sale so I got a can. I prefer my own, but Progresso soups are pretty good.
(Maybe I need to take another breathing treatment.)
