Yeah, I was a bit behind. I keep forgetting how old I am and how old fuel injection is.
I have a Ford that has trouble cold starting. I’ve read that there is an extra fuel injector for cold starting and I probably should have that looked at. But it WILL start so I keep letting it go.
The car has > 200K on it so I’m not thinking of spending tons, especially when I park it on NYC streets.
This this has always started up right away, with just the turn of the key. The only secret is that the clutch needs to be ALL the way to the floor. So now, I’m nervous again.
On my outing to Walmart this morning, I had to really hold the throttle down before it would catch, and that’s a new thing, too. It just takes so long to get going and then I smell raw gas. *sigh*
