I’m going to buy a lottery ticket after lunch with my parents.
If it’s a lucky one and I win big, I’m getting you a MacBook Pro.
The most I ever won on a lottery ticket was five dollars.

That new lightweight litter should be good. And just in case...you could start buying things in anticipation of getting a cat, like one of those spendy, self-cleaning litter boxes, and a cat tower/house, and all that stuff. You KNOW you will have a kitteh soon!

It is. I was actually born 3 days before labor day in my birth year.
I wonder how many years that narrows it down to?

Thank you for the good thoughts, Gefn! You are such a sweetheart!
I don’t gamble, so I’ve probably given up a lot of good things...but still, one can’t live in Vegas and gamble. I’ve seen it ruin too many lives. Folks go into casinos and cash their paychecks and before they get out, they’ve spent the rent, utilities, car payment and insurance or groceries.
One of my co-workers used to gamble on her lunch hour. I thought she was pretty stupid to do that.
We have to drive to AZ or CA to get lottery tickets. Nevada doesn’t have a lottery.

Thank you.
It turns out Labor Day was September 5 in 1882. That was the first one. So knowing it was September 5 in my birth year doesn’t narrow things down much.
But I will you that I’m not 133 this year.
Not yet.

So, According to Wikipedia Labor Day was 9/5 in 1904, 1932, 1960, and 1988.

Hi, ‘Face :) Things are as they were, but at least the weather is improving. Just checking in before I shut down the laptop and check out. Life off-grid is a challenge.

I didn’t know that. I just figured out Sundays in my mind, and started to subtract because I couldn’t go the other way.
My mother says every day is someone’s Labor Day. Ha.
