That has been my logo for 40 years! LOL! Glad you liked it!
This was what came to mind. :)
The dreams were ugly, so the sleeps were E-vil. And I woke up to gray skies and lots of pain. The temp will only be up to 96 today, but the humidity is up.
My sheets should come today...fast work, that!
I can’t recall when my aide is coming, and I need to wash. Since she will be here at 0800 on whatever day, I have to wash before or after...
And I need to get some stain remover, probably Resolve. My dishcloths need a good soaking in it. And I’m out of MILK!! GAH!
The car guy came by last night to get the codes off my truck but it was inconclusive, so one day in the next week or so, he will take it to his place to work on it. As long as I have it for payday.
That would work, for sure!! I LIKE it! :o]
Your Country Seat awaits.
I have ancestors from Shropshire, but I don’t know about the castle. I’ve tried to trace the castles to match them with the ancestors so I have a better idea of how big the realms were.
I need to find that castle site again...I had it 16 years ago...
You’d be cold and damp if you lived there.
I decided not to go to Weight Watchers today. Too many things hurt. Some schoolwork is actually being done, and Kathleen is being sent to the toilet every time I see her.
I need to go to Walmart.
I would go to Walmart but I spent all my money on sheets! LOL!
It’s overcast and misting.
My aide is going to be a no-show. She is being replaced. She wants to come Saturday or Sunday! GAH!!! Not again!
Pest control is here about the beetles and the desert recluse and is spraying inside AND outside.
I see the stock markets are rallying. Is that going to do anything to your losses of yesterday?
Midnight, our [cough] “little” Maine Coon boy, loves to sleep between my calves as I sit in my recliner and read.
He’s such a sweetie. When I have to put the leg support down to get up for something, he goes over to his cube
(a cloth-covered wire frame in the shape of a cube with holes on three sides big enough for a kitty to walk into.)
and sleeps in it until I get back again. The cat has stolen my heart, completely.
Jake likes to get under my skirt when I’m lying down. He’s disappointed when I won’t let him.
Jake is a pre-vert.
I can understand that, though...warm body and a cover from the brightness. Katz know where to get the snugly.
I’ve shown Sally how to use the inkle loom. It gave us something to do while keeping Kathleen in the bathroom.
I am not familiar with an “inkle” loom. :o|
Still overcast, no relief from the humidity, no breeze to cool the skin...no rain, here. Maybe somewhere else.
I had to leave after Pest Control was done. I couldn’t stand the smell. But I had no money to go to Walmart, so I just drove around with the windows down, trying to cool off and get the stink out of my nostrils. I had to get up to at least 35 mph to get the breeze, so that meant heading south, north or east. Did NOT want to get on the freeway.
I makes a woven strip up to about 3" wide. It's also called a "band loom." Until the mechanization of textiles in the mid-18th century, inkles or bands were the waistbands, bungee cords, gown laces, and all-purpose ties for everything.
Ah. Of course. Now I want one! :o])
comes in a version with a 3-foot hypotenuse that can lie on a table and be used by someone comfortably sitting down.
I just got an email from NVEnergy...my bill will be over $90 this month. By the time I figure out the difference (they lowered my credit for this year, over all, and lowered the amount I have to subtract from the balance.) Meaning that the amount I will have to pay will be almost twice what I paid last month.
They are getting so dang niggardly.
Old folks just can’t catch a break. Anywhere.
